A real digital freight corridor
IOXIO designed the data architecture, integrations and technical environment for the live Junnikkala → Port of Oulu corridor. The pilot connected more than 2,000 consignments with road transport, terminal operations, six machine types across five OEMs, cargo and maritime context.
Build the application layer too
IOXIO built a web UI prototype combining multi-OEM machine data with cargo operations, vessel ETA, weather, electricity price and sustainability information — showing how the data layer becomes a usable operational service.
Charge for the work ahead
Optimise charging from operational context, not battery state alone. The model connected cargo and terminal volumes, vessel ETA, electricity price and machine charge state so charging could be aligned with upcoming work.
The live corridor and multi-OEM data sharing were validated with real operational data. Data Ready Machines builds on that validation; Intelligent Cargo Handling Area and Corridor Connected Fleet remain research and business concept directions, with further pilot work planned.
